"Picture the difference" with Piktochart!

This week in our EdTech class we were asked to research and learn different apps for creating online. Piktochart is a online design program that could be helpful to a teacher or student looking to design, present, print, or create infographics. This program is very similar to Canva which is another program that I have used previously to create posters specifically. I had never heard of Piktochart before so I was curious about what this application has to offer. This application has a free trial and is reasonably priced for what it offers for a classroom. Although it is priced well, as a teacher I will always look for a program that is free to use as long as it is sufficient for my classrooms needs.

Piktochart assists users to become basic designers by using templates to create a variety of tools that will help enhance communication. Teachers could use this application in the classroom as a creative way for students to demonstrate their learning on a specific topic. I found this application fun to use because it had quite a few intriguing templates as well as interactive accessories. In a classroom it could be integrated into any subject and any curriculum easily. This app would be an interesting and fun way for students to display their knowledge in an online project. This app is definitely worth taking a look at.

See the poster below that Mr.Klaiber and I created for our in class assignment. If you click on the link the interactive tools will be enabled.
